Personal growth occurs hand in hand with relational growth. This is why the Thomas More school, with a view to innovative teaching, guarantees every child – regardless of age and individual frailty – the opportunity to benefit from curricular and extracurricular services such as trips, walks, educational visits or in-depth workshops.
Today the cooperative manages educational and training initiatives aimed at children, young people and adolescents: school (primary, secondary and high school), summer camps, curricular and extra-curricular educational activities, cultural, sporting and artistic activities.
THEATER WORKSHOPS
Inside the structure there is a theater with a capacity of 90 people. Here, children have the opportunity to
attend theater workshops that allow them to get involved through the movement, reading, re-writing and staging of a text.
The theatrical activity arises from the need to learn, experiment and use techniques of illustration and
manipulation of traditional materials to develop everyone’s creative skills.
The goal of the activity is not to become great actors, but to acquire a greater awareness of oneself and one’s body in relation to each other and the space, as well as to develop the ability to work in a group in a protected context, mistakes are thus never censored, but accepted as everyone’s starting point.
